Well I am back after a very long hiatus from blogging due to my A2 exams. But now they are all done and I am officially in my gap year. I guess I should reflect on my exams first so here goes:
Chemistry: this was definitely not as bad as last time but I still don't think that I have done very well at all. The questions were a little out of the ordinary so I do not think I will do that well in it. My prediction: B/C
Biology: like chemistry this went rather badly. Unit 4 was again rather horrible as there are so many pointless questions that I just do not know how to answer. Unit 5 did not go any better than this so again my prediction is a B/C
And finally Geology: this went awfully like the other exams and I felt as though I did not understand any of it. As a result I do not think I will get a good grade in this whatsoever so I predict a C/D in this one.
So, if we analyse these results, it would be rather obvious to assume that I won't be getting into medicine. As much as I hope these exams did not go as bad as I think, I am really not confident at all.
Well that is that, so I will move on to what has been going on recently. Well so far, I have now got a job as an HCA in a hospital working with mainly the elderly but also some other patients too. I am so excited and really cannot wait to begin this post and it should put me in good stead for my medical application (providing I can get the right results). I also now have some exact dates for my first piece of work experience and I shall be starting this on the 26th of July.
In regards to what I am currently doing in my life outside of my medical application, well, this is very boring and consists of a depressing and tragic story of me just being constantly drunk. I guess I better get used to life as a medical student now! I would say now I can't think of anything else to write so for now that is all from me.
