Well, what can I say, I am still sitting doing nothing just waiting for the all important date...the 19th of August. That is my D-Day, or more appropriately, R-Day! I guess my lack of activity is causing me to think far more about the different possibilities which has further led to me dreaming a lot about what will happen. I guess doing this blog should really take my mind off of things. I don't believe I have updated in a while so I shall let you know what has been going on for the past week.
Let's see, Monday was a bit of a failure day as I didn't actually do anything other than play games and sit on my ass. Tuesday I had a nice trip into London in order to get a fast-track passport to go to Turkey with the girlfriend on the 1st of September. I also saw this as a chance to see her, so we met in London for the day. It began with a fun trip to the Science Museum which is fantastic and well worth seeing, but after having done A-level sciences, I find a lot of what is put to us is a bit simple lessening my enjoyment. However, seeing the rockets is still as fun as ever. After this, we went to the cinema in order to watch Knight and Day, which despite being very predictable, was actually a good watch and clearly shows us what Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz can do at their best. Well, that is pretty much everything exciting that happened that week to be honest, apart from working from Wednesday until Friday which was not very interesting at all.
The week before that I was in Newquay with my friends getting drunk and having a hell of a lot of fun. It is an awesome place, but be warned it is a huge 'sausage fest'!!! Despite that, I just enjoyed a hell of a lot of beer, whisky, vodka, jaegar, and all that good stuff!
As far as my application is concerned, I have done little about it, because I figured where's the point if I don't get my grades. So until the 19th, I shall not be doing anything more to do with it. On the plus side I start my HCA job on the 16th i.e. Monday which should give me plenty to keep everyone entertained. I guess that will be all for now so peace out and take it easy!
