8:00am-9:00am: Clinical Meeting where doctors went over the difficult cases that could not be resolved.
9:00am-12:00pm: Ward rounds with the registrar. Those cases that interested me the most were firstly a man who was a chronic alcoholic and thus needed a lot of diazepam was necessary in order to just stop him from shaking and to also relieve the pain that he was under. The other interesting patient was a man who presented a giant bruise on his thigh that pretty much covered the whole of the man's thigh. It was also oozing a lot of blood as well and thus an ultrasound was ordered in order to work out how the bruising came about.
1:00pm-4:00pm: For these hours I was watching numerous angiograms and angioplastys and was thus able to learn the basics of angiogram imaging.
Overall it was a great day but it would have been more in depth but during my first writing of this entry it was all deleted so I couldn't really be bothered again.
Either way, peace out and have an awesome frickin' day dudes!
